The Conservative Eagle: a 12-leg Eagles at Bears parlay, leg by leg
Placed on Novig at 3:08 PM PT and matched. What it pays, what it has to beat, why Eagles +7.5 instead of the moneyline, and the one player left off on purpose.
The short version
Twelve legs at 9.00x: $100 pays $899.60 if every leg hits and nothing if one misses, so it has to hit more than 11.1% of the time to break even. Seven legs ride on one thing, a normal Eagles offensive game, which is the engine of the ticket and its risk. Kalshi prices the game, not the props: the live board is on the right.

The twelve legs
The name is honest about the legs and not about the structure. Each threshold is low. Twelve of them is not a conservative bet.

Novig liveloading…
WR2 after the trade from Green Bay. Real usage, not a lock.
-
Leg 2Pending

Same player twice. If he is quiet, two legs die together.

Goedert and Hollywood Brown are out. The targets go somewhere.
-
Leg 4Pending
20+ rushing yards

A low bar, but it needs Chicago to keep running. A blowout kills it.

He runs. The safest leg on the ticket.
-
Leg 6Pending
Philadelphia Eagles

Before the first snap the market had PHI as a 3.5-point favorite. At +7.5 they can lose by seven and this still cashes.

Needs a normal game, not a great one.

Leg 8Pending

Leg 10Pending

Same player as leg 10. They hit or miss together.
Each leg is priced live from Novig’s public order book (read at …, refreshed while this tab is open): the mid of the best bid and ask on the leg’s side, in cents and American odds. In play the books thin out, so a leg can show one side or no resting orders. Kalshi lists the moneyline for this game and no player props; the board on the right prices the game.
What it has to beat
At 9.00x the parlay has to hit more than 11.1% of the time to break even. If the twelve legs were independent and each hit 85% of the time, the joint probability is about 14%, which is thin against the price. At 80% each it is 7%, and the bet loses money over time.
They are not independent. Seven of the twelve (Hurts three times, Smith twice, Wicks twice) resolve on one underlying event: the Eagles offense plays a normal, competitive game. Treated as four correlated blocks at 85%, the joint is around 52%. The truth sits between those numbers, and Novig prices the correlation into the multiplier. That correlation is the engine of this ticket, and it cuts both ways: the legs win together, and they die together.
The structural risk is a blowout, in either direction. Eagles up three scores and Hurts stops throwing, so the passing legs die. Bears down three scores and Monangai stops getting carries. The ticket needs a competitive game more than it needs any one player to be good.
Why Eagles +7.5 and not the moneyline
The market has Philadelphia favoured by 3.5. Taking the Eagles at +7.5 inside the parlay means they can lose by seven and the leg still cashes. That is eleven points of cushion against the true line. On a twelve-leg ticket where one miss returns zero, the leg that is hardest to lose is worth more than the leg that pays the most. That is the genuinely conservative choice on the card, and it is where the name comes from.
Why Saquon Barkley is not on it
He took a stinger on the first drive at Tennessee, which is why his two-game totals read 19 carries for 92 yards. He practised last week, carries no injury designation and has said he will play, so his Week 1 line of 15 carries for 83 yards is the better guide. That is a player who will probably clear a modest rushing line. Probably is the problem. A ticket that already leans on eleven other things does not need a twelfth with a question mark on it, and D’Andre Swift at 30+ on the Chicago side covers the “a running back gets his yards” idea without the injury.
The riskiest legs
Luther Burden III, twice. Chicago has ruled Caleb Williams out with the hamstring for three to four weeks. Case Keenum starts: 38 years old, first regular-season snap since 2023, confirmed 2026-09-28. Betting a rookie receiver’s target volume behind that is the softest read on the ticket, and it is on there twice.
Dontayvion Wicks, twice. Newly acquired from Green Bay and the Eagles’ second receiver. With Goedert and Hollywood Brown out the targets have to go somewhere, and 3 catches for 30 yards is a low bar, but he is a WR2 on a new team, not a certainty. Two legs on one uncertain player is the same bet as one leg with worse odds.
The Bears running duo is the reason the Chicago legs are on the ticket at all. Swift and Monangai split a real workload, and with Keenum throwing, the run game is the offence. Both thresholds are set where a normal Bears game clears them. A Bears game that is over by halftime does not.
What SteveWillDoIt’s $187,200 ticket actually prices
In an Instagram story posted September 28, 2026, SteveWillDoIt showed a Red Rock sportsbook ticket for $187,200 on the Philadelphia Eagles at −2½, priced −160, written at 3:51 p.m. The ticket wins $117,000 and collects $304,200. He bought the line up from −3½, paying a premium to avoid losing on a field goal.
Two things worth knowing. First, −160 implies a 61.5% chance the Eagles cover 2.5, and Kalshi had them at 64¢ to win by any margin before kickoff. Covering has to be less likely than winning, and 61.5 sits just under 64. The two books agree with each other; there is no edge being revealed. Second, buying the point was expensive. The same $187,200 at a standard −3½ (−110) would win about $170,000 instead of $117,000. Moving one point off the 3 cost roughly $53,000 of upside.
His caption said free money. A $187,200 bet is one wealthy man’s opinion, priced slightly below what the market already said. Report the price, not the hype.
Questions people ask
How much does the parlay pay?
9.00x. $100 returns $899.60 if all twelve legs hit, a profit of $799.60. It pays nothing if any single leg misses.
What are the odds it hits?
It has to hit more than 11.1% of the time to break even. Twelve independent 85% legs would be about 14%; because seven legs ride on one Eagles offensive game, the true figure is higher, and Novig has priced that in.
Why is Saquon Barkley not on it?
A stinger at Tennessee and a 19-carry, 92-yard two-game line. He says he will play, but a receiver-heavy ticket does not need an uncertain rushing leg.
Is this a graded desk pick?
Yes. It was posted before kickoff and is graded on the final box score, hit or miss, on Exclusive Tuna’s record. Parlays are reported in their own bucket, separate from the Kalshi contract record, so one 9x result cannot distort the headline hit rate.
