XRP 15-minute desk

Kalshi opens a new up-or-down XRP window on every quarter hour. This page is that contract: the target to beat, printed to four decimals the way Kalshi publishes it, live Coinbase XRP-USD candles from 1 minute to 1 week, and what a stake pays after the taker fee. Changing the chart tab changes the candles only, never the XRP contract in the panel.

How to read this XRP desk

      Four decimals, then a decision

Every tab on this page ends in the same question: is the price you would pay below what you think this XRP contract is worth, after the fee?

      Lesson 05: 15-minute markets

The panel reads the same four numbers on every coin desk: the target Kalshi set when the window opened, the live Coinbase price and its gap from that target, the Up and Down prices in cents, and what a stake pays if you are right or costs if you are wrong. The mechanics are written up once, on the crypto markets hub, and the fee arithmetic lives in Lesson 03. What follows is only what is different about XRP.

      The facts behind this desk

      • Series KXXRP15M, a fresh window on every quarter hour.
      • Settles on CF Benchmarks’ XRPUSDRTI real-time index, the index named in the XRP market object we hold.
      • Target precision four decimals: the market declares round_digits: "4", and the snapshot we hold carried a target of $1.4264.

Read from Kalshi’s public API. The most recent XRP market object we hold closed on 2026-09-09 at 15:00 UTC; the series was confirmed open again on 2026-09-19. Full details and dates on the XRP hub.

Why the fourth decimal matters here

Bitcoin targets are quoted to the cent on a price in the tens of thousands, so the last digit is noise. An XRP target like $1.4264 is quoted to a hundredth of a cent on a price near a dollar and a half, so the last digit is the whole contest. One tenth of a percent of that target is about $0.0014, which is why the gauge under the live price is scaled in ten-thousandths on this desk and why the gap line prints four decimals instead of two. The desk reads that decimal count off each market as it opens rather than assuming it, so if Kalshi ever publishes a five-decimal XRP target, the panel prints five.

The chart axis draws Coinbase XRP-USD at four decimals too, and the dotted “To beat” line carries the exact Kalshi figure in its label. Judge the distance in percent, not in dollars: a gap of $0.0030 is roughly 0.2% on XRP, the kind of move a quarter hour can produce in either direction, and it looks like nothing next to a bitcoin gap of $30.

What we have measured, with the date

One XRP window in the snapshot we hold, the one that closed at 15:00 UTC on 2026-09-09, showed volume_fp 8,653.93 contracts and open_interest_fp 3,099.81. That is a single window on a single day, not an average and not a claim about depth today. We publish the field name and the date with every figure like this so you can tell a measurement from a guess, and we re-read it before we describe the market as anything other than what that one number says.

There is no XRP hourly desk. Kalshi’s series listing carries hourly-shaped XRP series, but we have not watched one trade, so this page stays on the quarter-hour contract and links to nothing we cannot verify.

      15m

Real contract. KXXRP15M opens a fresh up-or-down XRP window on every quarter hour. That one contract is what the right-hand panel reads on every chart tab.

      1m · 2m · 3m · 5m

Chart views. Short XRP candles over the current window; three-minute candles divide it into five bars exactly, two-minute candles do not, so the window box is placed by time.

      30m to 1W

Chart views. Longer XRP candles drawn over the same 15-minute contract. The 1W tab reaches back as far as Coinbase’s XRP-USD history allows and says so if it runs short.

      Last 5 results

Settled XRP windows. The chips in the panel are this series’ last settled windows from Kalshi, targets and finals at four decimals, refreshed every minute. Never sample data.

Fees and sizing on an XRP window

The fee is on the contract, not on XRP

Kalshi’s taker fee is 0.07 × contracts × price × (1 − price), rounded up to the cent, and it is at its worst near 50¢, where most quarter-hour windows trade. It does not care whether the coin is XRP or bitcoin: 100 contracts at 51¢ cost $52.75 all in and pay $100, so you need to be right more than 52.75% of the time to break even. The desk’s “If right / If wrong” lines already include it.

We size with a quarter Kelly capped at 5% of bankroll, and nothing at all when the edge is zero or negative. Four XRP windows an hour is four chances to overstake, which is the reason for the cap. The worked examples and the calculator are on Lesson 03: Kalshi prices and fees and Lesson 02: bankroll and units.

      Take a break between windows

96 XRP windows a day is not 96 trades

Decide the number of windows and the loss limit for the session before the first one, and stop when either runs out. If the last XRP window went against you, sit the next one out. The session check above keeps the clock and the limit in front of you on this device; Lesson 04 has the rest.
