What’s at stake

Game 2 is at College Park Center in Arlington, where Dallas went 16-6 this season. Golden State won there 94-76 on Aug 7, one of its three wins over Dallas this year.

Golden State leads 1-0 after winning Game 1 104-80. The Valkyries made 18 of 36 three-pointers and led by as many as 36. Paige Bueckers scored 21 for Dallas on 9-of-10 shooting.

The first round is best of three: a Golden State win here ends the series, and a Dallas win forces a deciding Game 3 back at Chase Center.

Five reasons to watch this one

  1. The money is on the Valkyries. Kalshi had Valkyries at 62¢ and Wings at 39¢ at our read, Mon, Sep 28, 2026, 9:27 PM PT.1 That is the crowd, not a projection of ours, and the crowd is wrong often enough to be worth checking.
  2. The series has its own price. The market to win the round had Valkyries at 90¢ and Wings at 12¢ to buy, read Mon, Sep 28, 2026, 9:27 PM PT.1 That price moves every time a game in the series ends.
  3. Gabby Williams, F for the Valkyries. 14.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists a game in the 2026 regular season, on 40.4% shooting.2
  4. Paige Bueckers, G for the Wings. 20.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 5.9 assists a game in the 2026 regular season, on 51.2% shooting.2
  5. They have met three times already. Golden State won the season series 3-0; the scores are in the tape below.2

Every number here is stamped with the source it came from, and nothing in this list is a pick.

DraftKings had GS -4.5 with a total of 155.5. ESPN’s matchup model gives Dallas Wings 41.7% and Golden State Valkyries 58.3%.2 We show the market, the book and the model side by side and leave the conclusion to you.

Reading the price

A contract pays $1.00 if its side wins and nothing if it does not, so 62¢ on the Valkyries is the crowd saying about 62%. The two asks add to 101%, and the 1 points over 100 are what it costs to take either side.

If the desk posts a call on this game it goes up with the buy price, the sell target and what happens if the target never fills, and it is graded on Kalshi’s own trade history with both fee legs counted, win or lose. A miss stays on the record next to the wins.
