Dime’s ticket posts before tip-off, and here is his read
I am watching Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, at 27.3 points a game, and Isaiah Hartenstein on the glass. For Houston it is Kevin Durant at 23.5 points and Amen Thompson at 9.0 rebounds. My ticket posts before tip-off once Kalshi's player board is fully trading and the injury report settles.
Records are through Tuesday, and Houston plays twice before this one, so Dime will refresh records and injuries on game day. Sengun's back, Holmgren's knee and Mitchell's ankle shape both lineups.

The storylines around opening night
Both teams are 4-0. Houston beat Atlanta twice in three days, 121-114 in Atlanta and 120-110 at home on Monday, and Oklahoma City beat Phoenix 125-114 on Monday.
Oklahoma City is short-handed. Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace were hurt in Sunday's win over the Clippers and both will need surgery that could be season-ending, per the Associated Press. Chet Holmgren sat Monday with patellar tendinitis in his right knee, and Alex Caruso sprained his right ankle.
Ajay Mitchell scored a career-high 30 starting in Williams' place, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 26, and Jared McCain scored 18 starting for Wallace. ESPN lists Holmgren and Caruso out and Mitchell day-to-day with an ankle injury.
Alperen Sengun had 29 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists against Atlanta, but ESPN lists him out with back soreness. Steven Adams is out with a calf strain and Marcus Smart is day-to-day with a left forearm strain.
Oklahoma City visits Dallas on Wednesday. Houston visits Milwaukee on Wednesday and Dallas on Friday, so Saturday is the second night of a back-to-back for the Rockets.
