Six storylines for Chiefs at Seahawks
Kenneth Walker III comes back to Seattle
Walker ran for 135 yards in the Super Bowl against New England to earn MVP honors, then signed with Kansas City as a free agent. He leads the league at 133 rushing yards a game, has topped 100 in four of five games and ran for 128 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday’s 22-6 win over the Chargers. “We’re happy for him, but also, we’re trying to figure out ways to stop this guy, too,” Mike Macdonald said. AP via ESPN · AP via ESPN
A run defense with a 35-game streak
Seattle has not allowed a 100-yard rusher in 35 straight games, the longest current streak in the league, and allows 96 rushing yards a game. Walker is the back most likely to end it. AP via ESPN
Mahomes against the stingiest pass defense in the league
Mahomes has 1,309 passing yards, nine touchdowns and three interceptions in five games, and the Chargers win was his 100th regular-season victory. Seattle allows 141.3 passing yards a game and has given up eight passing touchdowns all season. In two career games against the Seahawks he has 497 yards and six touchdowns. AP via ESPN
Smith-Njigba leads the NFL in receiving
Jaxon Smith-Njigba leads the NFL with 717 receiving yards and seven touchdowns, 119.5 yards a game, with five 100-yard games already. At Denver he caught 12 passes for 134 yards on 16 targets. AP via ESPN
Darnold took 17 hits in Denver
Sam Darnold went 27 of 51 for 278 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions in the overtime loss, the second pick setting up the winning field goal. Denver sacked him five times. “The quarterback’s getting hit way too much,” Macdonald said. “Everybody sees that.” AP via ESPN
Charbonnet is out, and the Chiefs are thin outside
Zach Charbonnet tore his ACL in January, ran for 730 yards and 12 touchdowns last season and spent the first six games on the physically unable to perform list. “There is a possibility that you can see him on Sunday in some capacity,” Macdonald said early in the week, but Seattle ruled him out on Friday’s report. Kansas City is managing injuries of its own: Rice and Tyquan Thornton missed the Chargers game with injuries, and Xavier Worthy led the receivers with seven catches for 73 yards. Rice is out again Sunday, and Thornton is expected to miss 12 to 16 weeks after dislocating his left ankle, per an AP source. AP via ESPN · AP via ESPN · Seahawks · KCTV5 · AP via NY1

Why each side can win
The Chiefs
Kansas City is 5-0 and leads the league with 414 yards of offense a game. Walker has carried 18 or more times in every game, and Seattle scored 14 points in 65 minutes at Denver.
The Seahawks
Seattle is home and allows the fewest passing yards in the league, eight passing touchdowns in six games. Smith-Njigba gets a Chiefs defense allowing 217.2 passing yards a game, 15th fewest, and Kansas City may start two backup tackles against Seattle’s front.
Records, venue, spread and total from the ESPN scoreboard, read 2026-10-20.1
Implied points is half the total moved half the spread, which is arithmetic on the two numbers above, not a projection.
What the market says
The posted line has Seattle Seahawks favoured by 3, with a total of 42.5. A spread is the market's estimate of the margin, not a result; the Kalshi contract below prices the win outright.
The two venue prices sit at the top of this page and are read live when it loads. A
contract settles at $1.00 if that team wins and $0 if it loses, so a price in cents is
that market’s implied chance of the win. Prices are the venues’, not our picks,
and the two rarely agree to the cent.
A spread and a contract price are two different questions. The spread is the market’s
estimate of the margin; the contract prices the win outright, and it is the one you can sell
before the game ends. Books differ on the spread itself: our read found two games where a
second book had a different number the same afternoon.1

The question on Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs are 5-0 and they are on the road, and the line makes them the underdog by 3. Decide what chance you
would give them, in cents, before you read the board. If your number is above the ask,
that is the trade; if it is not, there is no trade here.
The question on Seattle Seahawks
Seattle Seahawks are 3-3 and favoured by 3. A favourite contract costs most of a dollar, so the
money at risk is large against the money to be made. Work out what you lose if it goes
wrong before you decide what you make if it goes right.
Whatever you decide, write the entry, the sell target and the hold rule
before kickoff, and remember the fee is largest near 50¢.

Questions people ask about this game
Who is favored in Chiefs vs Seahawks on October 25, 2026?
The Seattle Seahawks are 3-point favorites over the Kansas City Chiefs at DraftKings, with Seattle at -148, Kansas City at +124 and a total of 42.5, unchanged from Thursday in ESPN’s odds feed read Saturday morning, October 24, 2026. Kalshi had Seattle at 58 to 59 cents to win the same morning.
What time is Chiefs vs Seahawks and what channel is it on?
The Chiefs play the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football, October 25, 2026, at 8:20 PM ET (5:20 PM PT) at Lumen Field in Seattle. The game is on NBC.
Is Travis Kelce playing Sunday night?
He is expected to. Kelce was limited in practice all week with an ankle injury but has no game status on the Chiefs’ final report. Rashee Rice is out with hamstring and knee injuries.
Is Zach Charbonnet playing for the Seahawks?
No. Seattle ruled Charbonnet out on Friday’s report, a day after moving him to the active roster from the physically unable to perform list. Emanuel Wilson remains the lead back.
What is the weather for Chiefs vs Seahawks?
ESPN’s game data from AccuWeather, read Saturday morning, had 52 degrees and cloudy skies for Sunday at Lumen Field, an open-air stadium. On Thursday it showed a 25% chance of rain around kickoff.
What is Agent Brad’s parlay for Chiefs vs Seahawks?
Agent Brad is sitting this game out. He went back through every player prop Kalshi lists for it on Saturday morning, catches and carries included, and is not posting a ticket. Seattle’s pass defense has allowed the fewest yards in the league, which makes the Chiefs’ passing game a hard read, and Kenneth Walker III meets a run defense that has not allowed a 100-yard rusher in 35 straight games. If that changes before kickoff, it will show here.
How many points is each team priced for in Kansas City Chiefs at Seattle Seahawks?
Half the total moved half the spread puts Kansas City Chiefs at about 19.75 points and Seattle Seahawks at about 22.75. That is arithmetic on the two posted numbers, not a score projection, and it is the figure most fantasy decisions on this game turn on.
How often does each leg of a pick'em entry need to hit to break even?
A pick'em entry is a parlay, so every leg has to land: two legs you price at 60 per cent are 36 per cent together, and three are 22 per cent. If your board pays N times the entry on an L-leg play, the entry needs to win one divided by N of the time, so each leg needs the L-th root of that. A two-leg play paying 3x needs each leg at about 57.7 per cent, and a four-leg play paying 10x needs each at about 56.2 per cent. Multipliers differ by state, board and promotion, so use your own terms.
