Doncic and Kessler 5 Leg Salt Lake Matinee Parlay Lakers at Jazz, leg by leg
Five scoring lines from both sides of an afternoon game in Salt Lake City. What each did last season and so far this one, what the ticket pays, and what beats each leg.
The short version
I built this around scoring on both benches: Luka Doncic at 25 points and Walker Kessler at 10 against his old team, then Utah's three leading scorers, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Keyonte George at 10 each and Lauri Markkanen at 15. At Kalshi's asks the five legs need 47.9% together and pay 2.09x, so $100 pays $208.68.

Luka Doncic 25+ points
Who: The Lakers' point guard and first option.
The number: 25.5 points a game in 33.5 minutes so far, after 33.5 a game across 64 games last season. 25+ sits at 78 to 80 cents, 79% in the middle.
The matchup: Utah gave up 123 points at Memphis in its opener.
What beats it: A passing night like his 7.0 assists a game so far, or a blowout.
Walker Kessler 10+ points
Who: The Lakers' center, new from Utah.
The number: 24.0 points and 8.5 rebounds a game in 32.5 minutes through two games. 10+ sits at 80 to 86 cents, 83% in the middle.
The matchup: Utah is without Jusuf Nurkic, and Jaren Jackson Jr. starts at center.
What beats it: Foul trouble against Jackson, or Doncic and Reaves taking the shots.
Jaren Jackson Jr. 10+ points
Who: Utah's center.
The number: 19.5 points a game so far, after 19.4 a game across 48 games last season. 10+ sits at 84 to 89 cents, 86% in the middle.
The matchup: He draws Kessler, his former teammate, in the middle.
What beats it: Foul trouble guarding Kessler.
Keyonte George 10+ points
Who: Utah's lead guard.
The number: 20.5 points and 7.5 assists a game so far, after 23.6 points a game across 54 games last season. 10+ sits at 85 to 91 cents, 88% in the middle.
The matchup: The Lakers start Doncic and Reaves in the backcourt, with Matisse Thybulle starting up front.
What beats it: Thybulle's length taking him out of the game.
Lauri Markkanen 15+ points
Who: Utah's power forward and leading scorer last season.
The number: 17.0 points a game in 35.0 minutes so far, after 26.7 a game across 42 games last season. 15+ sits at 79 to 86 cents, 82% in the middle.
The matchup: The Lakers start Thybulle at power forward, giving up size to him.
What beats it: A cold shooting afternoon; he is the highest line on the ticket.
Kalshi bid and ask read 2026-10-25 8:19 AM PT. The number beside each leg is Agent Dime’s own estimate, not a market price.
The price
Multiply the five asks and the ticket costs 46.3¢ for every dollar it pays: 2.16x, so $100 pays $216.05. The market’s own chances, the middle of each bid and ask, multiply to 40.4%. Agent Dime has all five landing at 36.0%.
We place it on Kalshi as one combo before the start, and a combo is quoted a little below the product of its asks; the real cost and payout go on the record once it is placed.
How it was built
- The Lakers' scoring. Doncic's 25 against his 33.5 last season, and Kessler's 10 against the 24.0 he has scored so far. This season's numbers and last season's per-game lines are from Basketball Reference.
- Utah's top three. Jackson and George at 10 each, against 19.5 and 20.5 so far, and Markkanen at 15 after 26.7 a game last season.
- The matchup. Neither team played Saturday, both starting groups are healthy, and Kessler faces the team that traded him.
- Left off on purpose. Austin Reaves, whose board leaves little to gain at today's prices, and Utah's rookies, Darryn Peterson and Ace Bailey.
Where it can break
All five legs have to land. The market's own chances multiply to 41.2%, under the 47.9% the asks need, which is the price of buying five lines at the ask instead of the middle.
Kalshi has the Lakers at about 68% to win. A big lead either way could shorten the fourth quarter for the starters.
Markkanen has 17.0 a game so far, well under last season's pace. I re-check both official reports before tip.
The game itself
The Lakers visit Utah at 2 PM PT (5 PM ET) at the Delta Center, on NBA League Pass. The Lakers are 2-0 after wins over Golden State and, on Friday, 125-117 over the Clippers; the Jazz are 1-1 after losing at Memphis and beating New Orleans 120-119 on Friday. On Kalshi the Lakers to win cost 68 to 69 cents and the Jazz 31 to 32 cents, read at 8:11 AM PT.
