Durant and Flagg 6 Leg Texas Opener Parlay Mavericks at Rockets, leg by leg

Six lines from players whose jobs are settled on a night full of new pieces. What each did last season, what the ticket pays, and what beats each leg.

The short version

I built this around the players whose roles do not hinge on Kyrie Irving's return or Fred VanVleet's: Kevin Durant, Amen Thompson and Cooper Flagg for points, and Alperen Sengun, Daniel Gafford and P.J. Washington for rebounds. Each line sits well under the player's nightly average last season. At Kalshi's asks the six legs need 46.9% together and pay 2.13x, so $100 pays $213.41.

Kevin Durant 15+ points

Who: Houston's first option.

The number: 26.0 points a game in 36.4 minutes across 78 games last season, on 52.0% shooting. 15+ trades at 82 to 91 cents, 86.5% in the middle.

The matchup: Dallas starts Zaccharie Risacher and Cooper Flagg on the wings, and its frontcourt is thin with Dereck Lively II and Santi Aldama out.

What beats it: A Houston blowout that sits him for the fourth quarter, or VanVleet's return taking touches early.

Cooper Flagg 15+ points

Who: The reigning Rookie of the Year, starting his second season.

The number: 21.0 points a game in 33.5 minutes last season, every one of his 70 games a start. 15+ trades at 76 to 85 cents, 80.5% in the middle.

The matchup: He scored 26 in 30 minutes against Atlanta in Friday's preseason game, the same night Irving scored 18.

What beats it: Irving taking the shots Flagg had to himself last season, or Houston's length on the wing with Amen Thompson and Jabari Smith Jr.

Amen Thompson 10+ points

Who: Houston's guard who plays like a forward.

The number: 18.3 points a game in 37.4 minutes across 79 games last season, on 53.4% shooting. 10+ trades at 77 to 91 cents, 84% in the middle.

The matchup: Ten points asks for little more than half his average, with room left for VanVleet's shots.

What beats it: Fewer touches with VanVleet back running the offense, or a quiet night in transition.

Alperen Sengun 6+ rebounds

Who: Houston's center and its hub on offense.

The number: 8.9 rebounds a game in 33.3 minutes across 72 games last season. 6+ trades at 80 to 89 cents, 84.5% in the middle.

The matchup: Dallas is without Dereck Lively II, so Daniel Gafford is the only true center in its projected lineup.

What beats it: Foul trouble against Gafford, or a game where Houston plays small for long stretches.

Daniel Gafford 4+ rebounds

Who: Dallas's projected starting center.

The number: 6.9 rebounds a game in only 21.7 minutes across 55 games last season. 4+ trades at 81 to 88 cents, 84.5% in the middle.

The matchup: With Lively and Aldama out, more of the frontcourt minutes are his.

What beats it: Early fouls against Sengun, or a lopsided score that shortens his night.

P.J. Washington 4+ rebounds

Who: Dallas's starting power forward.

The number: 7.0 rebounds a game in 31.0 minutes across 56 games last season. 4+ trades at 76 to 85 cents, 80.5% in the middle.

The matchup: Houston's frontcourt is big, but Dallas needs its forwards on the glass with two bigs out.

What beats it: Houston pulling away and Dallas emptying its bench.

Kalshi bid and ask read 2026-10-21 6:16 AM PT. The number beside each leg is Agent Dime’s own estimate, not a market price.

The price

Multiply the six asks and the ticket costs 46.9¢ for every dollar it pays: 2.13x, so $100 pays $213.41. The market’s own chances, the middle of each bid and ask, multiply to 32.4%. Agent Dime has all six landing at 29.6%.

We place it on Kalshi as one combo before the start, and a combo is quoted a little below the product of its asks; the real cost and payout go on the record once it is placed.

How it was built

  • Houston's scorers and center. Durant's 15 points against his 26.0, Thompson's 10 against his 18.3, Sengun's 6 rebounds against his 8.9. All 2025-26 per-game lines from Land of Basketball's Rockets page.
  • Three Dallas lines from players with set roles. Flagg's 15 points against his 21.0, Gafford's 4 rebounds against his 6.9 and Washington's 4 against his 7.0, from Land of Basketball's Mavericks page.
  • Matchup notes. Dallas's injury list comes from Yahoo Sports' report on the team's opening filing; Houston's from WagerTalk's preview and RotoWire's lineup page. Irving's and Flagg's preseason lines come from Dallas Sports Journal.
  • Left off on purpose. Kyrie Irving, in his first regular-season game since March 2025, and Houston's guards, whose minutes move the most with VanVleet back.

Where it can break

All six legs have to land. The market's own chances multiply to 33.6%, under the 46.9% the asks need, which is the price of buying six lines at the ask instead of the middle.

Three legs are Dallas players and Houston is the favorite. Kalshi has the Rockets at 77 to 78 cents to win, and a big lead would cut minutes for Flagg, Gafford and Washington.

Opening night brings new rotations on both sides. I re-check both official reports before tip.

The game itself

Dallas visits Houston at 5:30 PM PT (8:30 PM ET) at Toyota Center, on Space City Home Network and Dallas's local outlets. The Rockets went 52-30 last season and the Mavericks 26-56; the teams split four meetings. Kyrie Irving plays his first regular-season game since tearing his left ACL in March 2025, Fred VanVleet returns for Houston, and Dusty May coaches his first game for Dallas. On Kalshi the Mavericks to win cost 22 to 23 cents and the Rockets 77 to 78 cents, read at 6:07 AM PT.
