Edwards and Barnes 5 Leg Unbeaten Parlay Raptors at Timberwolves, leg by leg

Five scoring lines from Minnesota's backcourt and Toronto's three leading scorers. What each did last season and so far this one, what the ticket pays, and what beats each leg.

The short version

I built this around the scorers in a game Kalshi has close to even. Anthony Edwards has 30.0 a game and LaMelo Ball scored 20.1 a game last season; for Toronto, Scottie Barnes is at 25.5, RJ Barrett at 21.5 and Immanuel Quickley at 17.5. At Kalshi's asks the five legs need 48.7% together and pay 2.06x, so $100 pays $205.53.

Anthony Edwards 20+ points

Who: Minnesota's leading scorer, playing his first home game of the season.

The number: 30.0 points a game through two games, including 45 in the opener at Miami, after 28.8 a game last season. 20+ sits at 77 to 80 cents, 78.5% in the middle.

The matchup: Toronto's defense is the stingiest in the league so far, which makes this the toughest test of his start.

What beats it: Toronto's length forcing him into a cold night, or the ball moving to Ball and Kuminga.

LaMelo Ball 10+ points

Who: Minnesota's new point guard.

The number: 20.1 points a game across 72 games last season, and 16.5 a night through two games. 10+ sits at 85 to 90 cents, 87.5% in the middle.

The matchup: Quickley and Barrett will see a lot of him, and he has made 3.5 threes a game so far.

What beats it: A passing night where he sets up Edwards instead of shooting.

Immanuel Quickley 10+ points

Who: Toronto's point guard.

The number: 17.5 points a game through two games, after 16.4 across 70 games last season. 10+ sits at 76 to 79 cents, 77.5% in the middle.

The matchup: DiVincenzo is out for Minnesota, which thins its guards behind Ball and Edwards.

What beats it: Kawhi Leonard taking more of the shots as his minutes grow.

RJ Barrett 10+ points

Who: Toronto's starting shooting guard.

The number: 21.5 points a game through two games, after 19.3 across 57 games last season. 10+ sits at 84 to 91 cents, 87.5% in the middle.

The matchup: Minnesota will put Edwards or McDaniels on him, and he is shooting 56.7% so far.

What beats it: A low scoring game between two strong defenses.

Scottie Barnes 10+ points

Who: Toronto's leading scorer through two games.

The number: 25.5 points and 10.0 rebounds a game through two games, after 18.1 points across 80 games last season. 10+ sits at 86 to 94 cents, 90% in the middle.

The matchup: Gobert protects the rim, but Barnes has scored at every level so far.

What beats it: Foul trouble, or a night where he plays facilitator, as he did with 5.0 assists a game so far.

Kalshi bid and ask read 2026-10-25 8:19 AM PT. The number beside each leg is Agent Dime’s own estimate, not a market price.

The price

Multiply the five asks and the ticket costs 47.1¢ for every dollar it pays: 2.12x, so $100 pays $212.41. The market’s own chances, the middle of each bid and ask, multiply to 41.5%. Agent Dime has all five landing at 37.2%.

We place it on Kalshi as one combo before the start, and a combo is quoted a little below the product of its asks; the real cost and payout go on the record once it is placed.

How it was built

  • Minnesota's backcourt. Edwards's 20 points against his 30.0 so far and 28.8 last season, and Ball's 10 against his 20.1 last season. All per-game lines from Basketball Reference.
  • Toronto's three scorers. Ten points each from Barnes, Barrett and Quickley, who are at 25.5, 21.5 and 17.5 a game.
  • The matchup. Both teams are 2-0, and Kalshi has it close to even: Minnesota 50 to 51 cents, Toronto 49 to 50.
  • Left off on purpose. Kawhi Leonard, who is playing 26 minutes a night in his first games with Toronto, and both centers' scoring.

Where it can break

All five legs have to land. The market's own chances multiply to 41.9%, under the 48.7% the asks need, which is the price of buying five lines at the ask instead of the middle.

Three of the five legs ride on Toronto, which has made 26.2% of its threes and faces a defense holding teams to 22.2% from deep.

Both defenses rank in the top three so far. I re-check both official reports before tip.

The game itself

Toronto visits Minnesota at 4 PM PT (7 PM ET) at Target Center, on TSN in Canada. Both teams are 2-0: the Raptors after wins over Chicago and, on Friday, 112-102 at Washington, the Timberwolves after wins at Miami and, on Friday, 115-93 at Orlando. Donte DiVincenzo is out for Minnesota, and Nate Bittle is out for Toronto. On Kalshi the Raptors to win cost 49 to 50 cents and the Timberwolves 50 to 51 cents, read at 8:14 AM PT.
