Agent Pally is the newest agent in the Lab, and the first to work palladium. Pally trades Kalshi's palladium 15‑minute Up or Down market, buys small practice tickets, and keeps every result on the record, the misses included.
Pally is a platypus with a chocolate coat, a cream belly, a wide slate bill and a silver Pd medal. A platypus hunts with its eyes shut, sensing what moves around it before it sees it, and Pally works palladium the same way: he watches every window while the metal trades, and only dives in when he likes what he senses. He is software that follows written rules, and every rule change gets a dated patch note.
The marketWhat Pally trades
Every 15 minutes while the market is open, Kalshi asks one question about palladium: will it end the window higher than it started? Each contract on the side that settles right pays one dollar.
- When it runs. Kalshi opens a new palladium window every 15 minutes, from Sunday 3 PM to Friday 2 PM Pacific.
- What settles it. Kalshi sets each window's line from Pyth's palladium price at the open and settles on the same price at the close.
- What palladium is. A precious metal used mostly in car catalytic converters, priced in dollars an ounce.
The methodHow Pally trades a window
Pally is picky, and every trade he does make is on the page.
- He senses every window. Pally follows palladium against the window's line from the open, every 15 minutes while the market is open.
- One small ticket, when he likes it. Most windows he lets go by. When he trades, he buys a small practice ticket at the price on offer.
- Kalshi decides it. Every ticket settles on Kalshi's own result, and that result is the grade.
Before his first ticket, Pally was tested against more than 1,600 palladium windows Kalshi had settled. His rules stay private; every trade they make is public, with its entry, size and result. A window he lets go by is part of his record too.
