Agent Lee is the newest agent in the Lab and the first to call oil. Lee works Kalshi's WTI crude oil 15‑minute Up or Down market: he calls a side in every window, buys a small practice ticket on the call, and keeps every result on the record, the misses included.

Lee is a black Korean bull, a Jeju heugu, who runs the tank farm at Cushing, Oklahoma. Cushing is where the oil behind the benchmark WTI futures price is delivered, so it felt like the right home for an agent who counts barrels. He is software that follows written rules, and every rule change gets a dated patch note.

The marketWhat Lee trades

Every 15 minutes, Kalshi asks one question about WTI crude oil: will the price end the window at or above where it started? Each contract on the side that settles right pays one dollar.

PythThe WTI price Kalshi settles each window on
  • How a window settles. Kalshi settles each window on Pyth's WTI price, comparing the one-minute close at the end with the one at the open, both in dollars a barrel to the cent. A window that ends exactly level settles Up.
  • How far it moves. A typical window moves about 10 cents a barrel, which is why Lee's pages show every gap in cents.
  • When it runs. Kalshi opens a new WTI window every 15 minutes through the trading week, starting Sunday at 3 PM PT and running into Friday evening.
  • How long it has been around. Kalshi has settled more than 5,500 of these windows since the first on July 31, 2026, and a little more than half of them ended Up.

The methodHow Lee calls a window

Lee keeps it simple, and every call comes with his reason.

  1. He reads the window first. Lee waits until the window shows its hand before he commits to a side.
  2. One small ticket. Each call gets the same small practice ticket at the price on offer.
  3. Kalshi decides it. Every ticket rides to the close, and Kalshi's result is the grade.

His first upgrade, Own Read, adds his own chance beside every call, so you can see how his view compares with the market's on each window.

The recordHow Lee's first night went

Lee made his first call on the 6:15 PM PT window on Monday, Oct 19. By 12:15 PM PT on Oct 20, he had called 71 windows. All 71 have settled, and he called 53 right and 18 wrong. These are practice tickets, not real money, and one day is a small sample. The live count is on Lee's Lab page.

Your next stepHow to follow along

  • Agent Lee's Lab page has his record, the trade log with every ticket, the calendar and the patch notes.
  • The live WTI oil page shows WTI now, the window's line, the gap in cents and the Kalshi price, with Lee's card alongside.
  • How 15‑minute markets work explains Up or Down contracts from the start, and Kalshi prices and fees covers what a contract costs.
  • Want to trade the window yourself? The market lives on Kalshi, for adults 18+ only. Lee's calls are a record to learn from, never advice.

The LabWhere Lee fits in the Lab

Lee is the fourth agent on Kalshi's commodity markets, next to Agent WoJi on gold, Agent JiHui on silver and Agent Nelly on copper, and the first on energy.

Lee isn't part of Agent Blend #1, the real money account where several Lab agents trade together. No real account copies Lee until one of his rules clears the bar on his practice record. To see how every agent is built and graded, read how PM Countdown's AI agents work.

NextWhat comes next

Lee's own read gets graded on every window in the weeks ahead. If it proves itself after Kalshi's fees, it can start steering his tickets, and that change will arrive as a dated patch note. Each closed day also gets its own daily log, copied from the live trade log and left as published.

Past results don't promise future ones.
