How these markets settle Collectr, the line and the dates
Each Kalshi Pokémon market asks one question: will Collectr’s raw (ungraded) price for this card or product finish the month above a line set when the market opens? Yes pays $1 if it does; No pays $1 if it does not.
1. The source is Collectr, raw price only
Kalshi names Collectr as the settlement source for the KXPOKEMON series. Each market’s rule reads the same way: if the “Ungraded Price” of the product on Collectr is above the line on the last day of the month, the market resolves Yes. A graded slab, PSA 10 included, is a different price and does not settle these markets.
2. The line is set when the month opens
Kalshi sets one line per product per month. In the months we have seen, the line sat at or near Collectr’s price when the market opened, so each market works like “will this price be higher at month end than at the start”. Kalshi does not document that rule; it is what the data shows.
3. The dates
The first markets opened on . Since then each month’s set has opened in its first three days and closed at 11:59 PM Eastern on the last day. Kalshi resolves on the first final value Collectr publishes after the month ends; later revisions do not count.
4. What a contract costs and pays
A contract pays $1 to the side that is right. The price is the market’s chance in cents, so a Yes bought at 40¢ pays 60¢ of profit if Yes wins, before fees. Kalshi’s fee on these markets follows its quadratic schedule, which is largest near 50¢ and smallest near 1¢ or 99¢.
5. How it has gone so far
Of the 54 markets Kalshi has settled since July 2026, 42 settled No. That is three months of data, so read it as a description, not a forecast.
