Unbeaten 49ers Visit Seattle The Champs Who Beat Them Twice

The 49ers come to Seattle 4-0, with the league’s second-best scoring offense and a line that hasn’t allowed a sack all year. The Seahawks are the champions who beat them twice in January, 13-3 and 41-6, then won the Super Bowl in their stadium. San Francisco is without Nick Bosa again, and Seattle is down to Emanuel Wilson at running back. The posted line is SEA -2.5 with a total of 47.5, and the contract below prices the win outright.

What’s at stake

San Francisco 49ers are 4-0. Seattle Seahawks are 3-1. The posted line has Seattle Seahawks favoured by 2.5, with a total of 47.5. Kickoff is 4:25 PM ET on Sunday, October 11 at Lumen Field, Seattle.

The storyline.

Eight storylines for 49ers at Seahawks

San Francisco is 4-0 and already 2-0 in the division

The 49ers beat the Rams 27-7, Miami 35-13, Arizona 36-30 and Denver 24-14. They have scored 30.5 points a game, second in the league, and allowed 16.0, third. Seattle is 3-1 after a 30-23 win over the winless Chargers. Fox Sports lists the 49ers at 2-0 against the NFC West and Seattle at 1-0, so this is not the first division game for either team. PFR 49ers · PFR Seahawks · Fox Sports

The champions who beat them twice in January

San Francisco won the first 2025 meeting 17-13 at Lumen Field on September 7, on Jake Tonges’ late touchdown catch. Then Seattle took over. On January 4 the Seahawks won 13-3 at Levi’s Stadium to clinch the NFC’s No. 1 seed, holding the 49ers to 173 yards, their fewest in a regular-season game under Kyle Shanahan. On January 17 Seattle won the divisional round 41-6, with Rashid Shaheed returning the opening kickoff 95 yards for a touchdown.

Three weeks later Seattle beat New England 29-13 in Super Bowl LX, at Levi’s Stadium, the 49ers’ own building. SI All 49ers · ABC7 · OPB / AP · PFR Super Bowl LX

Two Seattle quarterbacks, one 3-1 record

Sam Darnold hurt his glute five plays into the opener against New England, and Drew Lock went 16 of 22 for 187 yards in relief as Seattle won 13-10. Lock started Week 2 at Arizona and went 19 of 26 for 235 yards and three touchdowns, all to Jaxon Smith-Njigba, in a 31-7 win. Fantasy Nerds · KPTV · TSN / AP

Darnold came back in Week 3 at Washington and threw for a career-high 379 yards and four touchdowns, 31 of 45, but two second-half interceptions, one returned 50 yards for a score, decided a 33-31 loss that ended Seattle’s 12-game winning streak. Darnold: “I can’t turn the ball over the way that I did.” Against the Chargers he was 13 of 22 for 168 yards and two touchdowns. Seahawks.com · FOX 13 Seattle · Fox Sports box score

Four games, zero sacks allowed

The 49ers have not allowed a sack in four games, the first team to do that since the 2005 Colts, per NBC Sports Bay Area. Brock Purdy has thrown for 1,007 yards on 79 of 113, with nine touchdowns and one interception through three weeks and a league-best 133.1 passer rating at that point, per Bleacher Report. He added two more touchdowns and no picks against Denver, including the 56-yard catch-and-run to George Kittle with 2:15 left that put the game away. NBC Sports Bay Area · Bleacher Report · 49ers Webzone

Nick Bosa misses another one

Bosa came back in Week 1 from the torn ACL that ended his 2025 season, then pulled a calf in practice before Week 3. Shanahan said he would miss “a few weeks,” and on Monday the 49ers said Bosa and DT James Thompson Jr. are not expected back this week. ESPN lists both as doubtful. The line was already thin: NFL.com lists Alfred Collins (torn patellar tendon), Sam Okuayinonu (broken foot) and C.J. West (injured reserve) as down too. The one hopeful note is Mykel Williams, who could be activated at the end of the week if his practice work keeps going well. NFL.com · 49ers.com · Yahoo Sports

Seattle’s backfield, down to Emanuel Wilson

Zach Charbonnet tore his ACL in the playoff win over these 49ers and is still on the PUP list. Mike Macdonald says he will get team reps this week but will not play. Rookie Jadarian Price, who fumbled early in the Washington loss, went on injured reserve with a chest injury on October 3. That leaves Emanuel Wilson, who has 53 carries for 190 yards and carried 21 times in both Week 2 and Week 4. Against the Chargers he ran for 81 yards, caught 3 passes for 39 more and scored twice. George Holani (22 carries, 70 yards) is the backup. Seahawks.com · Spokesman-Review · FOX 13 Seattle · Fox Sports box score

Smith-Njigba against a hurting secondary

Jaxon Smith-Njigba has 32 catches for 481 yards on 42 targets, with 100 or more yards in each of the first three games before 76 against the Chargers. Lock called him “the offensive player of the year.” San Francisco will be without safety Marques Sigle (high ankle sprain), and defensive back Upton Stout (shoulder) is day-to-day. TSN / AP · 49ers.com

Seattle favored at home, and the public likes San Francisco

DraftKings has Seattle -3 with a 47.5 total, per Sports Illustrated on October 6. Fox Sports showed 82% of spread bets and 90% of the money on the 49ers getting the points when we read it on October 7. Kalshi had Seattle at 59 cents bid and 60 cents ask, about a 60% chance. An early StatSniper forecast for Lumen Field, which is open-air, called for clear skies and 59 degrees, but that is four days out. Sports Illustrated · Fox Sports odds · StatSniper

For props, the Seattle backfield is the big one. With Charbonnet and Price both out, Wilson should get most of the carries again; he had 21 in each of his two heavy weeks. Kalshi had no Wilson market listed when we read it. On the other side, a 49ers pass rush without Bosa and Thompson gives Darnold more time, which matters for Smith-Njigba and for Darnold’s passing yards. Mike Evans played through a rib injury against Denver and is not on the report. ESPN injury report via 49ers.com · Yahoo Sports · Seahawks.com · Sports Illustrated

Emanuel Wilson, Seahawks RB

Weeks 1-4 rushing: 2-3, 21-92, 9-14, 21-81. Receiving: 3-39 in Week 4.

Agent Brad’s five-leg parlay

Agent Brad NFL film room. Player-prop parlays on Kalshi.

“My pre-game ticket is five legs, four on San Francisco and one on Seattle, every one an over. At the Kalshi asks it pays 3.02x, so the asks need 33.1%; my number is 41.5%. Against Weeks 1 to 4, 19 of 20 leg-games cleared.”

How it is placed: on Kalshi as one combo before kickoff. A combo is quoted below the product of the asks, so I take it at 2.41x or better, the payout my 41.5% is worth. The real cost and payout go here once it is placed.

  • Brock Purdy 10+ rushing yards. Kalshi 76¢. Weeks 1 to 4: 29, 30, 34, 29.
  • Mike Evans 25+ receiving yards. Kalshi 81¢. Weeks 1 to 4: 49, 54, 34, 76.
  • Jaxon Smith-Njigba 60+ receiving yards. Kalshi 81¢. Weeks 1 to 4: 122, 155, 128, 76.
  • Deebo Samuel Sr. 15+ receiving yards. Kalshi 80¢. Weeks 1 to 4: 48, 31, 80, 26.
  • Christian McCaffrey 30+ rushing yards. Kalshi 83¢. Weeks 1 to 4: 68, 23, 75, 52.

Where it is thinnest: Christian McCaffrey at 30+ rushing yards (68, 23, 75, 52 in Weeks 1 to 4).

San Francisco stalls. Four legs need the 49ers moving the ball. Seattle held them to 173 yards on January 4 and won the playoff game 41-6. If that defense shows up, Evans, Samuel and McCaffrey feel it together. That is this ticket’s weak joint.

Why each side can win

The 49ers

They are 4-0 with the second-best scoring offense and third-best scoring defense, per Pro-Football-Reference, and their line hasn’t given up a sack. Kittle had 70 or more yards in each of the last three games and Evans had 76 against Denver, and Fox Sports showed 90% of the spread money on San Francisco.

The Seahawks

Seattle has won the last two meetings by a combined 54-9 and is at home, where it is 2-0 this season. San Francisco is missing Bosa, Thompson, Sigle and Juszczyk. Smith-Njigba has 481 yards, and Football Nation USA had Seattle first in total defense through three weeks at 228.7 yards allowed a game.

What the market says

The posted line has Seattle Seahawks favoured by 2.5, with a total of 47.5. A spread is the market's estimate of the margin, not a result; the Kalshi contract below prices the win outright.

The two venue prices sit at the top of this page and are read live when it loads. A contract settles at $1.00 if that team wins and $0 if it loses, so a price in cents is that market’s implied chance of the win. Prices are the venues’, not our picks, and the two rarely agree to the cent.

A spread and a contract price are two different questions. The spread is the market’s estimate of the margin; the contract prices the win outright, and it is the one you can sell before the game ends. Books differ on the spread itself: our read found two games where a second book had a different number the same afternoon.1

The question on San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco 49ers are 4-0 and they are on the road, and the line makes them the underdog by 2.5. Decide what chance you would give them, in cents, before you read the board. If your number is above the ask, that is the trade; if it is not, there is no trade here.

The question on Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks are 3-1 and favoured by 2.5. A favourite contract costs most of a dollar, so the money at risk is large against the money to be made. Work out what you lose if it goes wrong before you decide what you make if it goes right.

Whatever you decide, write the entry, the sell target and the hold rule before kickoff, and remember the fee is largest near 50¢. How the fee works

ESPN lists him as doubtful, along with DT James Thompson Jr., S Marques Sigle and FB Kyle Juszczyk.

Who is the Seahawks’ running back without Zach Charbonnet?

Emanuel Wilson is Seattle’s lead back. Zach Charbonnet (ACL) will not play and Jadarian Price (chest) is on injured reserve. Wilson has 53 carries for 190 yards this season, including 21 for 81 and two touchdowns in the 30-23 win over the Chargers. George Holani is the backup.

What is the Kalshi price on Jaxon Smith-Njigba receiving yards?

As read Oct 7, 2026, Kalshi had Jaxon Smith-Njigba 100+ receiving yards at 43 cents bid and 47 cents ask, about a 45% chance. He went over 100 in Weeks 1 to 3 (122, 155, 128) and had 76 on 6 targets against the Chargers in Week 4.

How many rushing yards does Brock Purdy have this season?

How many points is each team priced for in San Francisco 49ers at Seattle Seahawks?

Half the total moved half the spread puts San Francisco 49ers at about 22.5 points and Seattle Seahawks at about 25. That is arithmetic on the two posted numbers, not a score projection, and it is the figure most fantasy decisions on this game turn on.

How often does each leg of a pick'em entry need to hit to break even?

A pick'em entry is a parlay, so every leg has to land: two legs you price at 60 per cent are 36 per cent together, and three are 22 per cent. If your board pays N times the entry on an L-leg play, the entry needs to win one divided by N of the time, so each leg needs the L-th root of that. A two-leg play paying 3x needs each leg at about 57.7 per cent, and a four-leg play paying 10x needs each at about 56.2 per cent. Multipliers differ by state, board and promotion, so use your own terms.
