What are the NFL Week 3 games and lines this week?

NFL Week 3 runs 16 games on three days, Thursday September 24, Sunday September 27 and Monday September 28, 2026, opening with Atlanta at Green Bay (GB -7) and closing with Philadelphia at Chicago (PHI -3.5). Nine games kick off in the same Sunday 1:00 PM ET window. The widest line is Kansas City -11.5 at Miami; the tightest is Minnesota -1.5 at Tampa Bay.

Week 3 splits into national and regional windows. Thursday, Sunday night and Monday night are the three windows every market gets in full: Atlanta at Green Bay on Prime Video, LA Rams at Denver Sunday at 8:20 PM on NBC, and Philadelphia at Chicago Monday on ESPN with an ABC simulcast. Sunday afternoon differs, since CBS and FOX carry it regionally, and a given market sees three Sunday afternoon games in total. CBS holds the Week 3 doubleheader, with its late game at 4:25 PM and the other network's lone late game at 4:05 PM.

The widest posted number is Kansas City -11.5 at Miami. The tightest sit at 1.5 to 2.5 points, led by Minnesota -1.5 at Tampa Bay, with Houston -2.5 at Indianapolis and LA Rams -2.5 at Denver close behind. A spread is the market's estimate of the expected margin, not a forecast of the result. On Kalshi, a contract tied to a game settles at $1.00 if that team wins and $0 if it loses, so its price in cents reads as the market's implied probability, not a pick.

Several storylines run through the week. Atlanta named Michael Penix Jr. its starter for Thursday, his 2026 debut after a partially torn left ACL ended his 2025 season in Week 11; Cooper Rush started the first two weeks. Chicago's Caleb Williams is week-to-week with a right hamstring injury from a Week 2 non-contact scramble, and the Monday line has moved from Chicago -1.5 to Philadelphia -3.5 as the total fell from 48.5. Baltimore at Dallas is the NFL's first regular-season game in Rio de Janeiro, with Dallas the designated home team. Cleveland's Deshaun Watson and the Jets' Geno Smith are also starting again in 2026.

Viewing guide

How to watch Week 3

Week 3 runs Thursday, September 24 through Monday, September 28, with six separate kickoff windows on three of those days. Thursday night opens the week, Sunday carries the bulk of the schedule across four windows, and Monday night closes it out. Knowing which window a game falls into is the first step to knowing whether you can actually watch it.

The hardest window to plan around is Sunday at 1:00 PM ET, when nine games all kick off at the exact same moment. You cannot put nine broadcasts on one screen, so the real decision for that hour is not who to root for, it is which one or two games your market's CBS and FOX affiliates hand you, and whether you need a second screen, an app, or a whip-around highlights feed to track anything happening in the other games.

Later in the afternoon, the kickoff clock tells you which network has the bigger show. CBS holds the Week 3 doubleheader, and a doubleheader network's late game always starts at 4:25 PM ET. FOX has the singleheader window this week, so its one late game starts at 4:05 PM ET. If your local late-afternoon game kicks off at 4:25, you are in CBS's doubleheader; if it kicks off at 4:05, you are watching FOX's lone late game.

What you actually see Sunday afternoon comes down to your market. CBS and FOX carry these games regionally, not nationally, so across the full Sunday afternoon slate your market gets three games in total: a doubleheader from one network and a single game from the other. Which matchups you are assigned is decided by the conference package, by whether your local team is being protected, and by each network's read on regional interest, not by anything you choose.

If you want a Sunday afternoon game your market is not showing, NFL Sunday Ticket is the route, and it is sold only through YouTube. For the 2026 season YouTube lists it at $378 as an add-on to a YouTube TV Base Plan, $480 as a standalone purchase, or $240 under a new-subscriber promotion. It covers out-of-market Sunday afternoon games only. It does not include the Thursday, Sunday night or Monday night windows, or the postseason.

Three windows this week need no workaround, because every market gets the same game.

Questions

Week 3 schedule and lines, answered

What time do NFL games start in Week 3 of the 2026 season?

Week 3 spans six kickoff windows on three days: Thursday at 8:15 PM ET (one game), Sunday at 1:00 PM ET (nine games), Sunday at 4:05 PM ET and 4:25 PM ET (two games each), Sunday at 8:20 PM ET (one game), and Monday at 8:15 PM ET (one game).

How do I know whether I am getting the CBS or FOX doubleheader in Week 3?

Check the clock on your late Sunday afternoon game. CBS holds the Week 3 doubleheader, so its late window kicks off at 4:25 PM ET. FOX has the singleheader this week, and its only late game starts at 4:05 PM ET. If your local late-afternoon game begins at 4:25, you are watching CBS's second game of the day.

How can I watch out-of-market NFL games in Week 3?

NFL Sunday Ticket, sold only through YouTube, is the way to watch Sunday afternoon games outside your home market. YouTube lists 2026 pricing at $378 as a YouTube TV Base Plan add-on, $480 standalone, or $240 for new subscribers. It covers the Sunday afternoon windows only, not Thursday, Sunday night, Monday night or the postseason.

What are the widest and tightest spreads in NFL Week 3?

The widest posted line is Kansas City -11.5 at Miami. The tightest is Minnesota -1.5 at Tampa Bay, with Houston -2.5 at Indianapolis and LA Rams -2.5 at Denver close behind. A spread is the market's estimate of the expected margin of victory, not a result, and lines can move before kickoff.

What time is Baltimore at Dallas, and why is that game different this week?

Baltimore plays at Dallas on Sunday, September 27 at 4:25 PM ET on CBS, inside the network's Week 3 doubleheader window. It is the NFL's first regular-season game in Rio de Janeiro, played at Maracana Stadium, with Dallas designated as the home team.

How does a Kalshi contract price relate to a point spread?

A point spread estimates the expected margin of victory; a Kalshi contract price reads as the market's implied chance of a team winning outright. The contract settles at $1.00 if that team wins and $0 if it loses, so a price in cents is what the market currently thinks the chance is. Prices are Kalshi's, not our picks.
