The official finish is an elbow to the head in the clinch at 4:56 of round one, four seconds before the bell, refereed by Jason Herzog. Tsarukyan took a Performance of the Night bonus and moved to 24-3.
Tsarukyan finished it with four seconds left in the first round. The official tabulation records the method as an elbow to the head in the clinch, at 4:56 of round one, with Jason Herzog refereeing. It was the co-main event, scheduled for five rounds at lightweight and not for a title, and it earned Tsarukyan one of the night's Performance of the Night bonuses.
The strike counts go the other way. Ruffy landed 22 of 28 total strikes to Tsarukyan's 9 of 20, more than twice as many, and was the busier man for almost the whole round. Significant strikes read 8 to 4 in Tsarukyan's favour, because most of what Ruffy landed was short work that does not count as significant. Tsarukyan scored the only knockdown, landed one takedown from ten attempts and held 3:00 of control time to Ruffy's 0:06. Tsarukyan is 24-3 and on six straight wins, his last loss a decision to Mateusz Gamrot in June 2022. He asked for a title shot in the cage afterwards and Dana White said he did not know yet. That is a display fault, not a statistic: the same page's 3.25 takedowns per 15 minutes over 152.1 minutes works out to 33 takedowns, and UFCStats independently prints the same figure as 33 landed from 95 attempts. Takedown accuracy is left off this page everywhere, and this fighter is why the rule exists.
