MMA fight markets
Kalshi lists a YES contract for each fighter, paying $1 if that fighter wins. The UFC is the only promotion with a series we have confirmed, KXUFCFIGHT, so the UFC hub is the one league under this tier. The tier exists because every card we cover gets an event page, a matchup archive for each bout and a graded result page below it.
Season: UFC cards run most weekends, all year.

The UFC hub
The hub shows Kalshi's open fight board when one is live, and our guides when it isn't. Another league joins this tier only after its series returns markets in a check we can date.
How a fight market works
A fighter's price is a probability
- Each fighter gets a YES contract that pays $1.00 on a win and $0 on a loss. A 52¢ price reads as roughly a 52% chance.
- You buy at the ask and sell at the bid. The gap between them is a cost you pay twice if you trade in and out.
- Kalshi's taker fee is 0.07 × contracts × price × (1 − price), rounded up to the cent. It peaks at 50¢, so the closest fights cost the most to enter.
- That fee moves your break-even above the price you paid. A 52¢ buy needs about 53.75% to come out flat.
10 contracts, 22¢ buy, 35¢ sell order
| Buy 10 YES at 22¢ | $2.20 |
|---|---|
| Taker fee0.07 × 10 × 0.22 × 0.78 = $0.12012, rounded up | $0.13 |
| If the 35¢ sell order fills$3.50 back, minus a $0.04 maker fee if Kalshi charges one on that market (0.0175 × 10 × 0.35 × 0.65, rounded up) | +$1.13 |
| If it never trades and winsSettles at $1.00 × 10 = $10.00, minus the $2.33 cost | +$7.67 |
| If it never trades and losesSettles at $0. This is the most you can lose. | −$2.33 |
