Prediction markets now list up or down contracts on Solana that settle every 15 minutes, 96 a day, and US spot Solana ETFs hold the coin for brokerage accounts. This hub keeps it in one place: the live window, Agent ZiC’s graded calls, what Solana is used for, its history and funds, and memecoins explained risk first. From January 8 to November 3, 2026, 14,088 of 28,307 settled 15-minute windows closed up.

Our Solana agent
Agent ZiC every call graded
ZiC calls Solana windows or passes, and every call is graded at settlement, misses the same size as hits.
Agent ZiC
“I’m ZiC, a toad who watches Solana. Every 15 minutes I read the price to beat, Solana’s own feed and what Bitcoin is doing, then I make a call or I pass. Every call stays on my page, right or wrong.”
Agent ZiC, the Solana AI prediction market agent1,862 calls right and 567 wrong, of 2,429 settled · 1 still open · 10 passes · since Oct 9, 2026 · as of Nov 4, 2026, 2:20 AM PT
ZiC makes calls and places no real orders. An agent’s record is not advice. Every call, right or wrong, stays on ZiC’s page in the Lab.
How ZiC makes a call
Twice a minute ZiC reads Solana’s price from five exchanges, the window’s price to beat, how Bitcoin’s own window is leaning and how many contracts the book holds at the best price. When one side is clear he calls it; when neither is, he passes, and the pass goes on the record too.
One real call, a miss
At 9:01 AM PT on Oct 9, 2026, with 13 minutes left in the 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM PT window, ZiC read two things:
- Solana against the line: $109.43, 23 cents below the price to beat of $109.6582.
- Bitcoin’s own window: priced Down at about 80%.
He put Up at 24%, so he called Down. Solana climbed back to its line before the close and the window settled Up: a miss, kept on the record like every hit.
ZiC is software that follows written rules, and every rule change gets a dated patch note. Watch ZiC on the Solana desk · Agent LoLo calls Bitcoin the same way · How our AI prediction market agents work

Every window settled and on file
We record every settled Solana 15-minute window and which way it went.
28,307 settled Solana windows from January 8 to November 3, 2026: 14,088 closed up and 14,219 closed down, across 300 days. 62 of those days have fewer than 96 windows on file. November 2026 so far: 280 windows, 129 up. Half of all windows settled within 13¢ of their line.
Each window is its own market. A run of ups says nothing about the next one.

Ways to trade Solana and what each can cost
Each way to trade Solana settles on a different number and can cost a different amount.
| Market | What it is | Settles on | Most you can lose | Who can use it | Graded on this site |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kalshi, Solana 15-minute | Up or down on SOL at each quarter-hour close | A 60-second average of a CF Benchmarks Solana index; ending on the line counts as up | What you paid plus the fee | Kalshi account holders, in the US where it is offered | Yes: the archive and Agent ZiC |
| Polymarket, Solana up or down | Up or down on SOL over short windows, including 15 minutes | Chainlink’s SOL/USD data stream, per the market rules; ending on the open counts as up | What you paid plus fees | Depends on where you live; read the venue’s terms | No |
| US spot Solana ETFs | Fund shares that hold SOL, bought through a brokerage | Net asset value, once each trading day | What you put in the fund | Brokerage customers | No |

Each window’s line is the settlement average at its open, carried to four decimals, so a Solana line reads in fractions of a cent. We run no Solana hourly desk: we build a page only for a contract we have watched trade.
Same clock
Solana next to Bitcoin
Solana’s windows open and close in the same instant as Bitcoin’s, every quarter hour around the clock.
Same instant, often the same way. In the 28,307 windows from January 8 to November 3, 2026 where Solana, Bitcoin and Ethereum all settled, Solana settled the same way as Bitcoin 80.5% of the time, and Ethereum did so 84.1% of the time. Solana follows Bitcoin a little less tightly, so a Bitcoin move is context for a Solana window, not its answer.
Judge a Solana gap in percent: a tenth of a percent is a matter of cents, so a move that looks small on the chart can decide a window.

The network
What Solana is used for
Solana is a public blockchain built for speed and low fees, and SOL is the coin you need to do anything on it.
What people use Solana for
| Use | What it looks like | A dated figure |
|---|---|---|
| Payments and stablecoins | USDC is the main dollar on Solana, and PayPal’s PYUSD went live on it in May 2024. | About $16.1 billion of stablecoins, third among all chains |
| Trading and lending | Swaps route through Jupiter and pools such as Orca, Raydium and PumpSwap; lending runs on Kamino. | About $1.10 trillion of exchange trading in the year to Oct 9, 2026 |
| Token launches and memecoins | Launchpads let anyone create a token in one transaction. | Pump.fun earned about 39% of Solana app revenue in the third quarter of 2026 |
| Physical networks (DePIN) | Networks that pay people in tokens for running hardware, such as Helium for wireless. | Helium moved its network to Solana on April 18, 2023 |
| Phones and consumer apps | Android phones with a wallet built in, from Solana Mobile. | Seeker began shipping worldwide in August 2025 |
| Tokenized funds and stocks | Treasuries, funds and stocks issued as tokens on Solana. | About $4.6 billion across more than 3,000 assets in September 2026 |
What SOL itself does
| Job | How it works |
|---|---|
| Fees | Every transaction pays a base fee of 5,000 lamports per signature (a billion lamports make one SOL). Half the base fee is burned; the rest, and any priority fee, goes to the validator. |
| Staking | Holders delegate SOL to validators and earn new SOL plus a share of fees. About 69% of all SOL is staked. |
| Rent | Every account holds a refundable deposit sized to its data. An empty account needs about 0.00089 SOL, by the formula in Solana’s docs. |
| Governance | Validators vote with their stake on protocol changes. SIMD-0550, which speeds up the cut in new issuance once it activates, passed in August 2026 with 67.0% of the vote. |
The mechanics are in Solana’s own documentation.
Users and growth
Usage up price down
Use of Solana set records in 2026 while SOL sat far below its high. Each figure names its tracker, because trackers count differently.
| Measure | Figure | When | Tracker |
|---|---|---|---|
| Completed transactions (not counting validator votes) | 3.18 billion, a record | September 2026 | Solana Compass |
| Wallets holding SOL | 8.38 million, up 20.5% since the start of July | Late September 2026 | Solana Foundation |
| Daily stablecoin users (active addresses) | 888,000, up from 333,000 a year earlier | September 2026 | RWA.xyz |
| Revenue earned by apps | $365 million, up 42.6% from the quarter before | July to September 2026 | SolanaFloor |
| DeFi deposits (TVL), in dollars | $6.21 billion, second among all chains, against $12.78 billion a year earlier | Oct 9, 2026 | DefiLlama |
| Exchange trading, last 30 days | $76.3 billion | To Oct 9, 2026 | DefiLlama |
A year earlier, on October 9, 2025, SOL closed at $221.03 on Coinbase; it traded near $110 on October 9, 2026. Use grew while the price halved, so a busy network is not a price call.
Trackers count differently: for September 2026 Solana Compass counted $184.1 billion of exchange trading on Solana where DefiLlama counted about $78 billion, so we compare chains with DefiLlama, which uses one method for all of them.
Price history
Solana’s record price and how far off it is
SOL set its all-time high in January 2025, after a launch auction priced in cents, outages and the FTX crash.
Solana’s all-time high is $293.31, set on January 19, 2025, per CoinGecko. CoinMarketCap lists $294.33 for the same day. Trackers read different exchanges at different moments, so a record price can differ by a dollar or two. SOL trades well below that high today; the live price is in the window at the top of this page.

Funds and futures
Solana ETFs and futures
US funds that hold SOL trade on stock exchanges, and most of them stake the coins they hold.
US spot Solana ETFs drew $1.578 billion in cumulative net inflows through October 8, 2026, led by Bitwise’s BSOL at $1.20 billion, per Farside. Farside’s table tracks seven of these funds and leaves out SSK, so its total is the spot funds only.
| Issuer | Ticker | Started trading | Stakes its SOL | Yearly fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| REX-Osprey | SSK | July 2, 2025 | Yes; a 40 Act fund, taxed differently from the spot funds | Not confirmed |
| Bitwise | BSOL | October 28, 2025 | Yes | 0.20% |
| Grayscale | GSOL | By October 29, 2025, converted from a trust | Yes | 0.19% |
| VanEck | VSOL | November 17, 2025 | Yes, a portion | 0.30% (VanEck waived it at launch) |
| Fidelity | FSOL | November 18, 2025 | Yes | 0.25% |
| 21Shares | TSOL | November 19, 2025 | Yes | 0.21% |

Memecoins and NFTs
Memecoins and NFTs explained, risk first
Most memecoin launches never graduate, and many lose nearly all their value. Here is how they launch.
How a memecoin launch works
- Anyone creates a token on a launchpad in one transaction, with no presale.
- The token trades on a bonding curve: a formula that raises the price as people buy and lowers it as they sell, with no order book.
- If buying fills the curve, the token graduates and its pool moves to a regular exchange. On pump.fun that exchange is its own, PumpSwap.
- Most tokens never graduate, and many that do lose most of their value soon after.
What goes wrong, and where to check
| Risk | What it means | Where to check |
|---|---|---|
| Rug pull | The people behind a token pull the pool’s money or dump a hidden supply. | RugCheck for liquidity status and the creator’s balance |
| Bundled launch | The creator buys a large share at launch across several wallets, so it looks like many buyers. | Bubblemaps for wallets funded from one source |
| Snipers | Bots buy in the first seconds and sell into later buyers. | The early-holder list on Solscan |
| Insider wallets | Wallets tied to the team hold much of the supply. | Bubblemaps clusters and RugCheck’s insider report |
| Can’t sell, or more printed | The creator kept the power to freeze accounts or print more tokens. | RugCheck’s freeze and mint authority lines |
| Copycat token | A new token copies a popular name and ticker to catch people searching by name. | Match the contract address to Jupiter’s verified list or CoinGecko |
In a single day reported on June 10, 2026, about 42,000 tokens launched on pump.fun alone. Over its history only about 1.4% of pump.fun launches have graduated, fewer than one in fifty. Only about 3% of pump.fun users had made more than $1,000 by June 2026.
How far six of the largest Solana memecoins fell from their highs
| Token | All-time high set | Down from that high |
|---|---|---|
| TRUMP | January 19, 2025 | about 97% |
| POPCAT | November 17, 2024 | about 98% |
| WIF (dogwifhat) | March 31, 2024 | about 96% |
| BONK | November 20, 2024 | about 94% |
| FARTCOIN | January 19, 2025 | about 94% |
| PENGU | December 17, 2024 | about 86% |
Read Oct 9, 2026. No prices and no links on purpose: this table is here to show the drop, not to point at a coin.
In February 2025 the LIBRA token fell about 95% within hours after eight insider wallets took about $107 million; Bubblemaps showed 83% of its supply sat in one cluster of linked wallets.
Many buyers use fast trading apps such as pump.fun, Axiom, GMGN, Photon and Moonshot; Photon and Axiom alone charge about 1% a trade. We name them so you know what they are; we do not link them and take no referral fee from any.
NFTs on Solana
Magic Eden and Tensor are the two main Solana NFT marketplaces. Solana NFT sales were about $1.95 million in the week to October 3, 2026, per CryptoSlam, against a weekly high of $160.39 million in late August 2021, per The Block: down roughly 99%.
Compressed NFTs store a fingerprint on chain instead of a full account per item, so minting a million cost about $110 at April 2023 prices, which is why spam airdrops of them land in wallets.

Solana questions answered plainly
What are the ways to trade Solana short term?
Up or down contracts that settle every 15 minutes on prediction markets, the coin itself, and US spot Solana ETFs through a brokerage. Each settles on a different number and can cost a different amount; the table on this page compares the contracts and the funds.
What does the Solana 15-minute market ask?
One question every quarter hour: will Solana finish the window at or above the price it opened at? Each window resolves yes when the 60-second average of a CF Benchmarks Solana real-time index at the close is at least the same average at the open. A window that ends exactly on its line resolves yes, and a yes contract pays $1.
How often does Solana close up in a 15-minute window?
From January 8 to November 3, 2026, 14,088 of 28,307 settled 15-minute windows closed up, close to an even split. Each window is its own market: a run of ups says nothing about the next one.
Does Solana move with Bitcoin?
Mostly. In the 28,307 windows where both settled at the same close, Solana settled the same way as Bitcoin 80.5% of the time. The two windows close in the same instant, so Bitcoin’s direction is useful context for a Solana call, not a reason on its own.
What is Solana used for?
Payments and stablecoins, trading and lending, token launches including memecoins, NFTs, and networks that pay people for running hardware. About $16.1 billion of stablecoins sit on Solana, third among all chains.
What is Solana’s all-time high?
Solana’s all-time high is $293.31, set on January 19, 2025, per CoinGecko. Solana’s low after the FTX collapse was $8.00 on December 29, 2022, on Coinbase’s SOL-USD market.
How do Solana memecoin launches work?
Anyone can create a token on a launchpad in one transaction. It trades on a bonding curve and, if buying fills the curve, graduates to a regular exchange. Over its history only about 1.4% of pump.fun launches have graduated, fewer than one in fifty.

What we could not verify, and therefore left out
- How many contracts Solana’s book holds at the best price: we have one reading, not a series, so the number waits until we log it.
- Follower counts for the X accounts: X does not let our tools read them, so we print none until someone reads them by hand with a date.
- Invesco Galaxy’s Solana fund (QSOL): we could not confirm its launch date or fee from the issuer, so it is not in the fund table.
- Current open interest in CME Solana futures: CME’s page needs a browser session, so we print the launch date and contract sizes only.
- Distance from the all-time high: our last read (Oct 9, 2026) is older than its 3-day limit, so the number stays off this page until it is re-read.
