Ducks at Golden Knights The odds and two live tickets

Vegas opened the night as a −218 favorite at home. Anaheim led 4-0 by 8:13 PM PT, and at 8:30 PM Kalshi had Vegas to win at 5¢, and a four-goal Ducks win was trading near even money. Exclusive Tuna took the other side of that margin, then built a 9 leg parlay that starts with Vegas +3.5. Here are the lines, both tickets as they were posted, and how each one graded.

The money moved to Vegas all day: −155 at the open, −218 at the close. Kalshi agreed. Vegas to win was 67¢ at the 7:00 PM PT start, about a two in three chance. It was Anaheim’s season opener; Vegas had beaten Chicago 5-2 in its own.

Both tickets, as they were posted

The spread ticket is a Kalshi position, bought in play at 8:30 PM PT and posted on X a minute later. The parlay is a Novig ticket: the slip shows it matched by 9:43 PM PT Friday with the hockey leg still live and all eight college games still to play.

Read Tuna’s column: why the other side of a 4-0 lead

The spot at 4-0, in prices

Four goals in just over seven minutes of hockey, from the last seconds of the first period to 7:03 of the second, took Vegas to win from 67¢ to 5¢. The market for a Ducks win by four or more opened up at the same time: the YES side was at 49¢ a minute after Leo Carlsson made it 4-0.

That is the price Tuna went after. NO on “Anaheim wins by over 3.5 goals” pays on any Ducks win by three or fewer, and on any Vegas win. With more than a period to play against the team the market favored before the game, one Vegas goal that Anaheim does not answer was enough.

Questions people ask

Who won Ducks vs Golden Knights on Oct 2, 2026?

The Anaheim Ducks won 4-3 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Anaheim led 4-0 after two periods on goals by Beckett Sennecke, Alex Killorn, Jeff Malott and Leo Carlsson. Vegas scored three in the third, from Shea Theodore, Tomas Hertl on the power play and Braeden Bowman.

What were the odds for Ducks at Golden Knights?

How does an NHL spread market settle on Kalshi?

Each spread contract names one margin. "Anaheim wins by over 3.5 goals" settles YES only if the Ducks win by four or more, and NO on any other result, including a one-goal Ducks win or a Vegas win. A 4-3 final settled it NO.

What did Exclusive Tuna buy on this game?

NO on Anaheim winning by over 3.5 goals, live, at a 50.62 cent average with the Ducks up 4-0: $500 for 987.58 contracts. Vegas cut it to 4-3 and the contract settled at $1.00, so the ticket paid $987.58, a profit of $487.58.

Did the 9 leg parlay hit?

No. Seven of nine legs came in, including Vegas +3.5. Florida scored 17 against a 31.5 line and BYU scored 17 against 27.5, so the $50 ticket to pay $11,367.77 was a miss.
